Nalini is a ceramic artist from Bengaluru and Pondicherry. Her journey with clay began in 2006. Over the last two decades of creation, she has been fascinated with exploring different forms and firing techniques, under the banner 'KlayKarma'. 

 

In 2002, she moved her studio to Pondicherry in the quest to shift from gas to wood firing. She now uses stoneware clay body and food safe glazes and brings about her creations to life in a wood fired kiln with ash melt on the pots. 

She is also the organiser for Bengaluru Potters Market with was founded in 2016 and after a long hiatus, restarted in 2023. The platform showcases exclusive handmade ceramic work by studio potters from across the country.
